Diet, and what it really means.
diet (noun) – the kinds of food that a person, animal, or community habitually eats.
Did you notice the word habitual? Yeah. That means it’s okay to have a treat. Just don’t make the treat a habit. Of course this extends to things beyond the usual snack foods, like greasy meals, midnight desserts, and five-course meals for every meal. Outdoor magazine recently did an interview with the author of Diet Cults. It was an interesting interview, and I am pretty sure the book would be an interesting read.
Of course, our race will feature various obstacles around the subject of diets. One of them will test you on diets. Do your homework, and be ready to sign up for our race which takes place on September 20th. Early Registration begins May 15th.
